Generate preview

Use previews to validate your template, mappings, and tables before turning on automation.

Preview

• Open your automation and click Generate Preview.

• The app fetches a sample task and produces a watermarked PDF document. Previews do not count toward usage.

Generate final document

• When you are satisfied with the preview, you can copy and paste the webhook into ClickUp and start generating your documents.

• The finalized document is attached to the ClickUp task and listed in Generated Documents.

Tips

• If the preview is empty or missing data, verify field mappings, that you pasted the exact tokens from the UI, and that your list has at least one task with data.
